For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; Colossians 1:9-11
Being Spiritually Mature involves having Patience & Longsuffering with Joy.
Patience with Joy, ok.
Longsuffering with Joy, whoa!
This is a reason why we can't stop praying for each other.
As followers of Christ, we desire to do His Will.
We want to walk worthy of Christ and to please Him and to be fruitful.
We want to KNOW HIM even more today than we did yesterday.
Only His Power can give us the Strength to suffer long with joy.
If we suffer with Christ, we will also be consoled by Christ.
In following His example, we will share in all His goodness!
