As we left the condo today, an older lady was walking to her car along with us.
I looked back and I see Jaelie holding her hand.
As they walk toward our car the lady grins and says, "I am enjoying this!"
Jaelie's simple gesture made a large impact.
Today in the market, Jaelie started hugging random ladies. They loved it!
She was giving out FREE HUGS.
It made me think of Hebrews 13:1-2.
Let brotherly love continue. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
As adults, people may think we are a little "off" if we go around hugging strangers; it's not as cute as when a 2 or 3 year old child does it innocently. But our hugs are our smiles, our "Have a great day," our gentle spirits and servant attitudes.
These seemingly small gestures can make a substantial difference in someone's day.
